What types of cards does the card reader support?
The system supports standard ISO14443 Type A/B protocols, covering most IC cards, ID cards, and NFC-enabled smartphones. For specific standards like HID or Felica, we can provide customized firmware.
How fast is the deployment process for a new machine?
It is extremely fast. Using our InHandGo App, you can scan the QR code on the machine and complete the binding and activation in just 30 seconds.
What happens if the power goes out?
The smart lock is designed to be Fail-Secure, meaning it remains locked during a power outage to protect the merchandise. Once power is restored, the system automatically reboots and reconnects to the network.
Does the cabinet work if the internet goes down?
For security reasons, opening the door is disabled when offline to prevent unauthorized access. However, if the network drops during a shopping session, the video data is cached locally and uploaded automatically once the connection is restored.
AI and Recognition
How do I add new products to the system?
You can take photos of the new product using the App and submit them. Our cloud system will automatically train the AI model. Once trained, the product is ready for sale without manual modeling.
How accurate is the AI recognition?
Under standard lighting and placement conditions, the accuracy is 99.5%+. We recommend a "One item, one hand" policy for the best experience. The system also supports Human-in-the-loop (HITL) review for low-confidence orders.
Can the system detect malicious behavior?
Yes. The system can detect anomalies such as camera obstruction or foreign object placement. If detected, it can trigger an alert or suspend the cabinet to prevent loss.
Operation
How do staff restock the cabinet?
Staff use a special "Replenisher Card" or authorized App account to open the door. The Staff calculates the inventory change (what was added) after the door closes, updating the stock levels in real-time.
Can I restart the machine remotely?
Yes. The App supports remote operations including rebooting, volume adjustment, and authorized door opening (requires secondary confirmation), reducing on-site visits by 80%.
How do I correct inventory if there is a mismatch?
You can view the real-time inventory on the InHandGo App and manually adjust stock levels if necessary. The system logs all manual adjustments for audit purposes.
How do I know if a device needs maintenance?
The system sends real-time push notifications to the App for critical events like Network Offline, Door Lock Failure, or Camera Error, including the device ID and error description.
Payment
How are payments processed for overseas users?
We support Pre-authorization (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). When a user swipes a card, funds are pre-held. After the door closes and the order is generated, the actual amount is captured.
What if a customer disputes a charge?
The App highlights abnormal orders in yellow. Operators can review the video evidence (with face blurring) linked to that specific order to verify the transaction details quickly.
How can I export financial data?
You can log in to the Web Dashboard to export transaction details in standard CSV format, which is optimized for financial reconciliation and business analysis.

Is the system GDPR compliant?
Yes. We prioritize user privacy. The system includes an automatic face blurring feature (accuracy >99%) for all transaction videos, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other privacy regulations.
