Overview
The EC312 series edge computer is designed for users developing lightweight edge applications. It has a rich interface, which can be extended to a variety of features such as CAN, analog input, RS-232/485, etc. Built-in Linux system provides long-term support to meet the needs of industrial automation. Supports security features such as Secure Boot and TPM to ensure software and data security. InHand DeviceSupervisor™ Agent service can be built-in to easily realize data acquisition, processing and cloud, and support DeviceLive cloud management.
Multiple interfaces to meet multiple scenes
The EC312 offers diverse interfaces to cater to various scenarios, including standard 2*10/100Mbps Ethernet, 1*RS232/RS485 combined with 1*RS485, and 1*USB 2.0. It also supports Wi-Fi, BLE, GPS, and TPM functionalities. For interface expansion, it accommodates up to 2RS232/RS485/AI/CAN along with 1 LORA, while for I/O expansion, it supports up to 4 x DI and 4 x DO.
InHand Device Supervisor™ Agent service
The EC312 features the built-in InHand Device Supervisor™ Agent service, simplifying configuration and eliminating the need for programming when uploading data to the cloud. It seamlessly supports mainstream industrial protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP/ASCII, OPC UA, and ISO on TCP. Additionally, it offers compatibility with major public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Alibaba, as well as seamless integration with mainstream IoT cloud platforms, providing users with diverse IoT cloud solutions.
Fully Industrial-grade Design,ready for harsh industrial environments
TThe device is engineered with a highly reliable design specifically for harsh industrial environments. It meets EMC3 standards and operates efficiently across a wide temperature range from -20 to 70℃, while supporting a wide voltage power supply of + 9 to 48VDC. Furthermore, it includes power failure protection, ensuring that the system automatically shuts down safely in the event of abnormal failures, guaranteeing worry-free operation.
Distribution Linux system
The distribution Linux system enhances convenience for secondary development. It utilizes InHand IEOS, based on Debian OS, to offer a flexible and diverse secondary development environment. Users can freely program in various high-level languages, facilitating smooth and adaptable customization.
Uninterrupted Internet access from anywhere
The EC312 offers multiple network access options for reliable data transmission: It supports global 5G/4G cellular networks, drawing on InHand's 20 years of experience in cellular network communication to ensure high-availability internet access, even in locations without wired networks. Additionally, it supports Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity, with the ability to mutually back up wired, cellular, and Wi-Fi networks, along with support for dual SIM cards. This redundant design of WAN links ensures uninterrupted and reliable internet access.
InHand DeviceLive Cloud services streamline batch deployment and maintenance
They offer cloud-based parameter configuration, container management, application, and firmware management, simplifying the setup and maintenance process. Cloud-based status monitoring allows users to easily check online status, signal strength, traffic consumption, and other key information at a glance. Additionally, they provide safe and reliable remote access services for PLCs and other user equipment, enabling remote monitoring and management with peace of mind.
