Overview

InHand Networks ODU302 4G Outdoor Router

The ODU302 is an outdoor cellular router designed to simplify outdoor networking deployment. Conventional outdoor connectivity requires combining a standard router, external antennas, feeder cables and a weatherproof enclosure — many accessories, complex cabling and difficult maintenance. The ODU302 integrates 4G cellular, built-in omnidirectional antennas and an IP65-rated enclosure into a single device. With dual-SIM failover, link self-healing, dual power inputs and the free Device Manager cloud platform, the ODU302 makes outdoor connectivity simpler — from on-site deployment to remote O&M.

Features

One Device, a Complete Outdoor Connectivity Solution

The ODU302 integrates a 4G cellular router, an IP65 weatherproof enclosure and built-in omnidirectional antennas — replacing the traditional "indoor router + weatherproof box + external antennas" setup. No feeder cables, no drilling, no extra accessories: peripheral hardware and protection costs are eliminated at the source.

IP65 All-Weather Protection, -40°C to +70°C

Dust-tight and protected against high-pressure water jets, the ODU302 works reliably from -40°C to +70°C — withstanding direct sunlight, extreme cold, dust and rain. It mounts directly on exterior walls, poles and cabinet tops with full outdoor exposure.

Three Mounting Options for Every Scenario

Compact and lightweight (164 × 50 × 129.7 mm, approx. 500 g), the ODU302 supports wall-mount, pole-mount and top-mount installation — directly on cabinet tops, exterior walls or surveillance poles, with no in-cabinet space or feed-through drilling required.

Multi-Layer Link Redundancy, Always Online

A three-tier protection logic — hardware watchdog self-recovery, dual-SIM cellular failover, and cellular/wired dual-link mutual backup with VRRP hot standby. Signal degradation, dial-up failure or broadband interruption all trigger seamless switchover, keeping transactions, warehousing equipment and outdoor surveillance uninterrupted.

Always Online — dual-SIM failover and link self-healing

Dual Redundant Power Inputs: PoE + DC 9–36V

Compatible with both IEEE 802.3af PoE and a wide-range DC 9–36V terminal input, monitored in parallel with millisecond-level automatic switchover. Adapts to shop PoE tapping, weak-current cabinets and solar power — ideal for unattended long-term online scenarios.

Free Cloud Management at Scale

The ODU302 natively supports the InHand Device Manager cloud platform: centralized management of thousands of distributed devices, remote configuration, firmware upgrade, traffic statistics and fault alarms. Managing one thousand devices costs almost the same effort as managing one — and SMS management keeps devices reachable even when the network is down.

Enterprise-Grade Security

An enterprise-grade stateful inspection firewall (SPI), DoS protection, ACL access control and a full suite of mainstream VPN protocols — IPsec, L2TP, PPTP, GRE, OpenVPN, WireGuard and ZeroTier — keep business data transmission encrypted and compliant.

Why ODU302 — Compare with Other Outdoor Routers

Full-featured, dual power inputs, dual-SIM auto failover and free scalable cloud management — the ODU302 leads on stability, O&M efficiency and scenario adaptability.
