InHand Networks Registers over 40% Growth for H1 2021
InHand Networks has just released its financial results for H1 2021. The past six months have witnessed our robust growth despite continued challenges globally, with a record RMB 197.95 million (USD 30.55 million), up by 46.42% year on year, and net profit of RMB 33.69 million (USD 5.20 million), an increase of 48.54% compared to the same period last year.
All four branches of our business – M2M communications, power distribution monitoring system, smart vending and technical services – have experienced double-digit increase, especially the vending system which has rocketed by 231.6%.
InHand Networks boasts its core technologies in industrial communication, cloud computing, sensing and control, as well as artificial intelligence. We focus on development in the markets of commerce, industrial IoT and mobility. Our products and solutions are widely used in smart grid, smart manufacturing, smart retail, smart city, digital energy and more market segments. We continuously provide solutions for the IIoT industry, from sensing, control to communications, from data collection, aggregation to analytics.

It is designed to reduce cloud-end computing resources, realize data optimization, real-time response, agile connection and model analysis on the IoT edge, further advancing the development of digital networking in the AI era. The InGateway902 is also a certified Microsoft Azure IoT Device. The InGateway902 High-end Version and the InGateway902 Basic Version are listed on Azure IoT Device Catalog.
Why InGateway902?
With Edge Computing, processing and actions can be moved from cloud to a local device, a gateway, or a PC on the factory floor, i.e. the edge of the network. For manufacturing, moving computing to the network edge can bring at least these benefits:
● Near real-time response in mission-critical scenarios, without the latency inevitable when going through the cloud.
● Reduced bandwidth costs and resources required by cloud computing.
● Predictive analysis, anomaly detection, image recognition, etc. by AI/machine learning running on the device.
Where to use edge computing?
Example 1: CNC machines on the factory floor

AnnouncementYear 2018 Financial Report Released
InHand Networks, a global leader in industrial IoT, has released its annual report and financial results of the year 2018. The past year has witnessed our continuous growth, registering total revenue of RMB 276 million, up by 20.59% year on year, and net profit of RMB 47 million, an increase of 44.11%.
In 2018, InHand Networks focuses on Smart Grid, Smart Manufacturing, Smart Vending, Transportation, Environment Protection, and Healthcare, with breakthroughs in some rapidly-developing vertical markets. The InHand Wireless Overhead-Line System (IWOS) and InHand Go Smart Vending System, have achieved remarkable progress in market expansion, and become our key business. The 20.59% YoY growth in total revenue is mainly driven by the substantial rise in the revenue from IWOS.
The factory in Jiaxing city was put into operation in July, 2017, with standard workshops and multiple lines to satisfy the demand for our rapid expansion. The new production system can better meet higher standards of InHand Networks’ production requirements, delivering more than 360 thousand IoT products worldwide in 2018. Our own manufacturing plant has been under construction and is expected to begin production by the end of 2019.
In 2018, InHand Networks has continued its efforts in global development. We exhibited at DistribuTECH, Elecrama, Hannover Messe, Venditalia, and other major trade shows around the globe, presenting our latest IoT products & solutions and building up our brand.
Up to the date the report is released, InHand Networks has acquired 37 patents, including invention patents, utility model patents and design patents.
